Mission is what we do Monday through Saturday in the ways we live our lives at home, work, and school; amidst family, co-workers, friends, neighbors, and strangers. Ministry is how we do it. Parishioners minister as members and volunteers in their communities; as parents, grandparents and mentors; as contributors to the Norwalk Food Bank; as leaders in various community efforts and boards.
Our primary ministry as a parish is our monthly community meal. On the third Thursday of the month, we serve between 50 and 80 meals in our fellowship hall. People come for the food, but also for companionship and welcome. Our guests say we serve the best meal in Norwalk! If you want to meet us outside Sunday morning, come and join us as a volunteer.
We host two Narcotics Anonymous meetings and various other gatherings, and we're always looking for more ways to get to know our neighbors and to live into our calling to be Christian leaders.
